For your consideration is a vintage Sheboygan Boot & Shoe Co. advertising sign, circa 1891. This sign is framed and marked "SHEBOYGAN BOOT & SHOE CO. / SHE-BOY-AGAIN ORIGIN OF THE NAME OF THE CITY OF SHEBOYGAN / 401, 403, 405 & 407 EIGHTH ST SHEBOYGAN, WIS." The poster shows an armed Indian chief and a mother appealing to him with her infant child. The publisher listed is Beck & Pauli Litho. Co, Milwaukee. This sign is in good condition (some small scuffs) and with the frame measures 31.5" x 19".
