For your consideration in this lot we have a pair of cast iron ship and anchor fireplace grates originating from the early 20th century. The grates show a two part construction with the front vertical section and then the runners going out from there. The vertical sections are cast in the shape of a sailing ship sitting above an anchor . The grates are free of manufacturer marks. The pair are in good condition overall with one of the runners being bent. The grates measure 18 1/2" tall by 19" long and 10 1/2" wide.
