For your consideration is this Acoma Pueblo Indians polychrome textured pottery bowl circa early 1900's signed by Acoma Pueblo artist Rosita Cats. This large bowl shows great craftsmanship with sound dimensions and a clean finish to the red polychromal red paint adorning the inside and outside of the bowl. There is a beautifully constructed textured strip to the outside of the bowl with triangular patterns put together to create the textured strip. The bowl is signed on the bottom of the bowl with artist name and 'San Juan and Pue.' The condition of this bowl is good with a singe hairline vertical crack along the side walling of the bowl. The measurements of this bowl are 4 1/2" x 7 1/4" x 7 1/4".
