The painting shows a bald eagle from the back as its perched on a branch with its head turned to look at the viewer. The piece features wonderful detail and color giving the eagle a vibrant look. The eagle is painted onto a piece of hardwood. The painting is marked "Bald Eagle Doc Ball '75" underneath the eagle. The piece shows a metal hanging wire in the back for wall mounting.
