Featured in this lot we have a signed Greek Apulian amphora form vase from a British museum collection. The vase shows ornate designs set in gold, teal, red, and white paint with a image of four Greek gods or heroes talking amongst one another in a field. The image is primarily done in teal with some red and gold accents. The piece is marked on the bottom reading "No 287 Part of Vrissets About 500 B.C. British Museum Made in Greece By Vassilopoulos". The piece shows good condition overall with some crack and chipping in the paint. It measures 12 1/2" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
