Featured in this lot we have a signed Jesse Henderson painting of a Native American tribe welcoming a group of traders into the village. This is a painting done by a Montana artist and signed by him as well. Jesse Henderson is a western painter who paints Indian themes to encourage interest and to educate. The painting shows the outskirts of a Native American village as they accept what appears to a a group of traders and travelers. The painting features wonderful detail in the figures and landscape. The caravan extends toward the back with forested mountains in the background. The piece is signed "Jesse W. Henderson - J.W. Henderson 2005" in the bottom right hand corner and "1/10AP" in the left corner. The painting is set into a custom wood frame. The piece shows good condition overall. The frame measures 47 1/2" wide by 34 1/2" tall with the art measureing 26 1/2" tall by 39 1/2" wide.
