The lot features a Sioux Native American Indian beaded sheath and trade knife from the 20th Century. The piece shows glass trade seed beads in a geometric pattern with light blue background and pattern in black, red-white heart, greasy yellow, green, and white. The piece is constructed of tanned Indian buckskin hide over commercially tanned thick leather with an Indian tanned hide buckskin hide belt loop. The trade knife is a thicker, skinning bowie-like clip point knife from the 1800's with brass riveted walnut grip handle. One side of the grips is broken in half, with one half missing, and the other is loose. The knife is 11.5" L and the sheath is 7 3/8" L by 2 5/8" W.
