This is a fantastic mid-20th Century beaded doll from the Sioux Native American Indians. The doll shows braided hair, likely real human hair or horse tail hair, along with Indian tanned buckskin hide with glass trade seed beads in geometric patterns. The doll shows a dress with beaded cape, beaded earrings, beaded necklace with number three wampum conch shell. The doll has a fringe border along the dress. The base shows beaded leggings and beaded moccasins that slip on and off. The piece is well kept with soft hide and little to no bead loss. Measures overall 11.5"L by 6"W.
