Featured in this lot is this original work of art hand painted on wood sign of a life size, large Smokey The Bear Sign. The work of art is signed on the back, “Nancy Allen” and is cut from a piece of plywood then hand painted. The piece shows the classic full body Smokey The Bear with the Smokey Forest Ranger hat, shirtless bear wearing blue jeans held up by a Smokey belt buckle and holding a spade shovel. Truly a fantastic piece that would be the key piece in any Smokey The Bear, National Park Forestry or Yellowstone National Park collection. The sign is a handmade art piece by Nancy Allen made in the same likeness of the U.S. Forest Service Smokey The Bear signs giving the daily fire danger rating. The condition of this Smokey sign is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this sign is 67 3/4" x 26 3/4" x 3/4". The collective weight of this sign is 15lb 8oz.
