Featured in this lot is this pair of Smokey the Bear and U.S. Forest Service fire awareness signs. There are two signs in this collection. The first is a Smokey the Bear U.s Department of Agriculter - Forest Service sign that is made from The Advertising Council, Inc. and printed from the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1956 and from the State Forestry Department and reads: Pals... working together - help prevent forest fires! The second is a U.S. Forest Service Department of Agriculture fire awareness sign that shows a man in a burning forest and reads: Your Forests- Your Fault - Your Loss! and was created by James Montgomery Flagg. The condition of this pair signs is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of these signs are 14" x 10 1/8" and 18 3/4" x 11 7/8".
