For your consideration is this solid brass Chinese dragon vase from the 20th century (Late Qing Dynasty). This well-made piece includes a detailed dragon wrapped around the neck, holding a burning pearl—an prominent symbol in Chinese culture representing wisdom and power. The vase's body is embellished with raised dragon designs and traditional cloud patterns, all framed by dramatic, shield-like borders. The brass has aged naturally, adding character and highlighting the design's depth. The vase features a flared top, a robust rounded shape, and a firm base, giving it a striking yet balanced appearance. It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The tail of the dragon appears to have broken off. It measures 6 1/2" L x 7 3/4" W x 16 1/4" H and weighs 10 pounds and 14 ounces.
