For your consideration is this pair of beautifully beaded Southern Plains gauntlet gloves circa 1900-1930s. The set shows Indian tanned hide with various colors of trade seed beads and blue and pink glass trade seed beads showing a geometric or simple flower design. The gloves show colors of yellow, red, blue, green and pink. The inside of the gloves are lined with a floral calico fabric, while one side of the outside of the gloves feature tanned hide strips. They show good condition overall with some wear due to their antique age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. The gloves measure 10 5/8" L x 6 3/8" W (at top of glove) 4 1/2" W (at hand of glove).
