The lot features a mid-to-late 20th beaded hide revolver holster from the Southern Plains region. The piece exhibits a very thick tanned hide body with red stroud clothe thread sewn border with beadwork down the center and a silver gorget trade piece. The silver piece has not been tested and shows a diamond or square shape wit square cutouts and a four-point design. The beadwork is glass trade seed beads with greasy white, greasy blue, greasy yellow and cobalt. The piece has a dark brown and red dye on the hide and measures 15.25"L by 6.5"W.
