Featured in this lot is this Southern Plains nickel silver heart and star pendants c. 1960's. There are two pendants in this collection. The first is a nickel silver constructed heart design that shows a hand pressed construction with a eyelet at the top of the pendant. The second pendant is is a ringed star with a scalloped top edge and is constructed from nickel silver. The condition of this pair of Southern Plains pendants are good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of these pendants is 3 1/2" x 3" x 1/4" and 2 7/8" x 2 3/4". Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery. Truly an outstanding example.
