Featured in this lot is this vintage Southern Plains Thunderbird beaded hide pipe bag. The pipe bag features a wonderfully and professionally crafted hide and beaded construction that shows a strong fringe along the outside of the bag that is sewn with sinew. The trade seed beads that make up the Thunderbird in the center and the geometric pattern adorning the face of the bag with coloration of chalk white, black, and light grey. The fringe at the bottom is adorned with clay trade beads. The condition of this Southern Plains pipe bag is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this of the pipe bag is 32 1/2" x 7 3/4". The collective weight of this pipe bag is U6oz.
