Included in this lot is a Spanish made rifled small cannon with brass base. The cannon is constructed with a brass base and wheels. The base is designed in a way to help control the cannons recoil. Recoil is the rearward thrust generated when a gun is being discharged and in order to control this force the bases features a second set of rolling wheels and a stop block. The top of the barrel is stamped “Black Powder Only” and the underside is stamped “Spain”. The cannon itself is a steel construction and features a rifled barrel. The piece shows good condition with no noticeable corrosion. The cannon measures 9 ¾” x 2 ½” x 5 ¾”. Black powder firearms do not require a FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
