For your consideration is a sporterized Smith Corona 03-A3 bolt action rifle. This WWII rifle keeps the standard receiver marked "US Smith Corona Model 03-A3". The barrel has been upgraded to a Flaigs Ace .243. Flaigs Custom Gun shop in Western Pa operated from the 1940's Thru the 1980's. Offering all types of gunsmith work and first class custom rifles. There rifles were noted for the accuracy and quality of the work done on them. The stock has also been upgraded to a straight grain walnut with ebony tip and hard rubber butt stock. The receiver has been drilled and tap to receive a rail and also features a jeweled bolt. Barrel measures 24" long. Action is tight and in fine working condition. Serial Number: C3709990. This rifle qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
