Featured in this lot is this St. Charles point collection from the Early Archaic period and aged from 10,000 - 8,000 B.P. There are 17 small points in this collection. The points show a variety of shapes and sizes, notched corners, and triangular semi serrated blades with a flare to the base of the points and sharp corners. The material they are knapped from ranged from a salmon pink chert material to light brown chert material. The condition of this collection is good, with no obvious signs of damage; the rykker case shows some cracking to the glass. The measurements of these arrowheads range from 1 1/2" x 5/8" x 1/4" to 2 1/4" x 7/8" x 1/4".
