Featured in this lot we have a copy of "Stanley's Story or Through the Wilds of Africa". The book contains Stanley's late personal writings on the Emin Pasha relief Expedition. The book features a fold out map and numerous illustrations, including eight full color, tissue-guarded illustrations. The book shows a red cloth cover with faded gilt gold lettering and shows a tiger and snake with figures riding elephants in the background. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear. The book measures 8 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide.
