Featured in this lot is this Stauer sterling, Cripple Creek turquoise & spiny oyster necklace done in a Navajo style. Stauer was founded in 2003 by Michael Bisceglia. Bisceglia was inspired by the high cost of his wife's jewelry purchases and sought to offer luxury-style items at more accessible prices. This necklace features a large sterling pendant with a circular piece of Cripple Creek turquoise set in the center. Adorning the outside of the turquoise are sixteen polished pieces of spiny oyster cabochons. Set in between the spiny oyster cabochons are a total of sixteen sterling beads. The back of the pendant is marked reading, ".925 Stauer". The sterling snake chain is marked on the clasp reading, ".925". The piece shows good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of damage noted. The pendant measures 2" L x 1 3/8" W x 1/2" D, while the necklace measures 18 1/2" L from clasp to clasp. It has a total weight of 28.2 grams.
