STUNNING Navajo Number 8 Turquoise Squash Blossom

This is a stunning Navajo running horse squash blossom necklace set with gem quality Number 8 Spiderweb Turquoise and is signed by silversmith Adam Fierro. Adam Fierro is a native of Gallup, New Mexico and learned his silversmithing skills from birth mainly from his grandmother from the Santa Clara Pueblo and White Mountain Apache. The squash is a large, heavy example set with beautiful gem quality turquoise, all being Number 8 Spiderweb Turquoise. The necklace shows a double strand of Navajo pearl concho beads in sterling silver with five blossoms on each side, totaling ten with beautiful polished turquoise cabochons with a shadowbox design and fluted blossom design all in sterling silver. The bottom Naja Squash has a total of 12-polished cabochons of fine turquoise with a solid sterling silver dimensional running horse at the center. The back of the naja is signed by the artist reading, "Adam Fierro / Sterling". The piece shows good condition overall with no wear or damage present. The naja measures 3 7/8" L x 2 3/4" W x 1/2" D, the necklace measures 23 1/2" L from clasp to clasp and the blossoms measure 1 7/8" L x 3/4" W x 3/4" D. It has a total weight of 254 grams.
