Featured in this lot is this Syroco wooden Native American scenic ashtray. The ashtray features a wonderfully decorated Syroco wood construction that features an Indian head decoration to the lid on the tobacco compartment and shows a woman cooking over an open fire inside the bowl of the ashtray. The sides of the tobacco compartment is decorated with a scenes of canoes in a river and the back shows flying ducks with reeds underneath them. The Syracuse Ornamental Company, known as Syroco, was an American manufacturing company based in Syracuse, New York. They were best known for their molded wood-pulp products that resembled hand-carving. The condition of this Syroco ashtray is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this ashtray is 1 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 4 3/8".
