Offered in this lot is a collection of Victorian and Mid-century era pocket mirrors, button pins, uniform buttons, high school belt buckles and a face powder compact. Two of the five (5) pocket mirrors cases have art print images of women, two are photographic prints of women, and one is of an infant. The infant imaged pocket mirror, 3.5" diameter, is the central feature of advertising for German American Life Insurance Co. of Iowa, c. 1920s. One imaged pocket mirror case does not have a mirror. Three of the five (5) button pins are of young children, two are of women. The smallest pin is in an ornate setting typical of the Victorian era. There are three (3) rare Northern Pacific Railway uniform brass buttons marked, "NP", in bronze, gold, and silver colouring. Two (2) vintage Gallatin High School Belt Buckles, circa Mid-century modern, 1"W x 2.5"L in bronze and chrome finish, enamel lettering, from The Kinney Co. Providence Rhode Island. Lastly, a rare advertising compact, blue colour, that reads, "Kremola Makes The Skin Beautiful", on the front with picture of a woman's face. Reverse reads, "Delicia Face Powder Dr. C.H. Berry Company 2975 Michigan Ave. Chicago"; rim inscription reads, "Parisian Novelty Co. Chicago". There is powder in the compact but most likely not the original. Compact measures 2.25" diameter. Overall items are in good condition considering their age and use.
