The lot features a fantastic custom “Collector” knife by renowned bladesmith, Ted Miller. The knife shows a stainless steel blade with antler tine inlaid with Cripple Creek turquoise, Jet and red branch coral stones along with being displayed on a burl wood and antler tine stands. The knife shows a wonderful Native American Indian decorative handle with a single inlaid turquoise stone and a single inlaid jet stone and shows sixteen inlaid red branch coral stones into the headband. The half hilt is constructed from brass and the blade shows stainless steel construction with the artist signature just above the hilt and is also marked 'collector 84' on the other side of the blade. The condition of this blade is good with wonderful well-preserved condition to the knife and the stand with no obvious signs of damage and good display condition. Ted Miller “Collector” Knives are incredibly collectible with some models of such high craftsmanship as this example have sold for between $4,000 to $5,000. The measurements of this knife and stand are 13" x 9" x 5" and the knife measures 12 1/2" x 2" with a 6 1/4" blade.
