Featured in this lot is this bronze sculpture called Dall Ram: The Cloud Runners by Montana artist Terry Murphy born in 1952. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction mounted on a wooden shield. The bronze features a scene of Dall Rams running down a mountainside following one after another. The bronze is marked as follows: Terry J. Murphy - '82 - 6/24 - Dall Rams The Cloud Runners. Terry Murphy is known for Western theme sculpture, realist style bronze cowboys, Indians and horses. Terry Murphy was a fourth generation Montanan, born and raised in the Helena Valley of Montana in 1952. He is self-taught, studying the masters of sculpture from the past to the present. The condition of this mounted bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this mounted bronze sculpture is 27" x 34" x 10 1/2". The collective weight of this bronze sculpture is 114lb 8oz.
