Featured in this lot is this Texas long shank spur collection, circa 1890-1910. There are two pairs of spurs in this collection. The first is an iron Texas long shank, single piece spur with a sunburst rowel and swivel spur strap buttons. The second pair is of the same design with a Texas long shank construction and a sunburst rowel and double spur strap buttons. The condition of these spurs is fair, with no obvious signs of damage; heavy oxidation is shown on both pairs of spurs. The measurements of these spurs are 1 1/4" x 4" x 6 1/2" and 1" x 4 1/4" x 6".
