Featured in this lot is this Texcoco Mexican Mayan textile pictorial rug circa 1960's. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that shows a off white field that shows blue banding with grey, and black coloration and shows medallions with 'S' and shows a Mayan pictorial figure in the center. The condition of this rug is preserved with some fading in one of the corners of the rugs color and bleeding in some areas of the blue of the rug but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this rug is 35" x 19 1/2". The thread count of this rug is 147 threads per square inch.
