This is a first edition hard bound book titled The Boys of '76 and authored by Charles Carleton Coffin. The book tells the story of the Battles fought during the American Revolutionary War and shows various etching illustrations throughout. The book is similar to the book by the same author, titled "The Boys of '61" which told the unique story of the Civil War from the beginning to surrender of General Lee. The books shows a wonderful pictorial gilt and black lettered hard cover which presents very well and overall the book appears to be in good condition for its early age with signs of use.
