Featured in this lot we have a Sting sword and sheath replica after The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey. This sword shows a steel blade with metal guard and pommel with a wood grip. The blade of Sting is marked "The Hobbit An Unexspected Journey WBEI Middle-Earth Ent. Lic. to New Line.(s12) UC2892 Taiwan". The piece matches the prop used in the movie with the designs of the original sword such as the swirling vine etched into the blade. The sheath features leather wrapped construction with metal fittings on each end with a leather carrier strap. The sword and sheath show very good condition with a few minor scuffs.
