For your consideration in this lot we have a hardcover copy of The Pioneers of France in the New World by Francis Parkman. The book tells a narrative history of when the Americas where first being settled by the French and their struggles in doing so. The book was printed in 1885 by Little, Brown, and Company. It is signed and dated on the first page and dated 1891. The book is set in a brown canvas cover with designs in black ink and gold lettering on the spine. The book is in good condition overall with some wear on the cover and spine. It measures 7 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
