Featured in this lot is this The Tombstone Epitaph: April 1, 1882 "Curly Bill Show Yourself!"; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This newspaper includes an article about the death of the accused murderer Philomeno Sais by the Earp brothers after escaping the Mexican Prison. The other article is an offer for $1000.00 for the conclusive evidence that Curly Bill is DEAD, and than later in the article the writer mocks Curly Bill to show himself if he is alive and business owners would donate $2000.00 to a charity of his choice (very tongue in cheek). The condition of this The Tombstone Epitaph newspaper is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this framed newspaper is 27 1/2" x 39 3/8" and the visible newspaper measures 23 1/2" x 35 1/2". The collective weight of this framed newspaper is 10lb 12oz.
