Featured in this lot is this The Tombstone Epitaph: Sept. 10, 1881 "The Bisbee Stage Holdup"; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The newspaper features the original daily edition Vol. 2 No. 205 from Tombstone, Cochise County, Arizona That includes two unique about the attempted arrest of McMasters with a long article about the events of the day and the telegram that ruined Marshal Earp's chances at retrieving McMaster's. The other article is about a stage robbery by three masked men that robbed the Wells Fargo & Co. while The condition of this The Tombstone Epitaph newspaper is well preserved with some natural tears due to age along with the browning to the pages but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this framed newspaper is 29" x 40 7/8" and the visible newspaper measures 23 1/2" x 35 3/8". The collective weight of this framed newspaper is 13lb 12oz.
