For your consideration is a carved wooden mallard duck decoy. The decoy is partially hand painted and partially stained wood; the result is simply beautiful. The bottom of the decoy has been signed by the artist and reads, “1998 Mallard/Thomas Chandler". A sticker with the name of Chandler's studio, Waterfowl in Wood, is also affixed to the bottom. In addition to works Chandler produced from his own studio, he was also a Master Carver for Big Sky Carvers in Bozeman prior to the company's move to Manhattan, Montana. The carved wooden mallard decoy is in very good condition. It measures 5” wide and is 12 1/4" long.
