Featured in this lot is this Tinglit lidded rattle-top polychrome basket circa 1900's. This basket is wonderfully and professionally crafted from bear grass and shows a beautifully colored and naturally dyed side waling with a polychrome dyed lid that features a compartment that births the rattle sound in the central of the lid. Provenance: This basket is from Mark Sublette Medicine Man Gallery and from Ex McIntyre collection, Oregon. The condition of this lidded rattle top basket is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this basket is 2 1/8" x 6 1/8" x 6".
