A blockbuster and Academy Award winning 1962 critically acclaimed American drama film based on Harper Lee's 1960 Pulitzer Prize winning novel of the same name. The film was initially released on Chistmas day, December 25, 1962 in Los Angeles, general release throughout the US was in March 1963. The Great Depression-era story of racial injustice and the loss of childhood innocence is told from the perspective of a young Alabama girl whose father, a widowed lawyer in Depression-era Alabama, defends a black man against an undeserved charge, and his children against prejudice. This poster and its frame are in very fine condition, fold marks and staple holes on poster from original use. Slight age tanning, no foxing observed. Rustic solid hardwood matted frame, professionally framed, no other obvious marring noted. Visible art measure 13.25"W x 32.25"L x 1.25"D; frame is 21.25"W x 41"L. Sizes approximates.
