The scale is designed to be accurate to two ounce increments with a total weight of 125 pounds. The face of the piece is marked "Toledo Reg U.S. Pat. Office No Springs - Honest Weight Toledo Scale Company, Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A." across the center with "Weight Control 2 Ounce Graduation" towards the bottom. The center of the piece shows a indicator arm attached to a set of weights and pulleys. The front of the scale shows a metal plate with patent numbers. The top of the piece shows a knob for locking the scale bed. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and use. The scale measures 42" tall by 32" wide.
