For your consideration is this limited edition print of Tom Frye's 1 of 1 bullet outline of Frontier's 737 aircraft circa 1980-90s. Frye was born and raised in Ohio. During World War II, he was a gunnery instructor in Florida. Following the war, Frye began working as an exhibition shooter for the Remington Firearms Company. Throughout his career, Frye set numerous marksmanship world records and became well-known for making artwork by firing bullets through sheets of metal and paper. Frye passed away in 1982. This print is numbered 354 out of 737 and shows Tom Frye's signature under the numbering in pencil. On the print itself it reads, "#1 of 1 / Shot by Tom Frye / Billings, Montana 11-28-80". The print shows a Frontier 737 airplane outlined by bullet holes shot by Tom Frye. He spelt out "Frontier 737" with his shots around the airplane. The bottom of the print gives a small write up on Frye and how he accomplished this amazing feat, as well as a mention of his Guinness Book of Records. The piece is set in silver colored frame and set behind glass to preserve the print. The visible art measures 12 3/8" L x 20 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 12 15/16" L x 21 1/4" W x 3/4" D and weighs 3 pounds and 6 ounces.
