Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, Arizona Territory Crystal Palace blackjack table circa 19th century and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The blackjack table features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows a grey cloth covering to for the table top with a house chip holder on the house side of the table with ornate frame and legs with split feet and a stabilizing bar in the center. The Crystal Palace in Tombstone, Arizona Territory, was one of the town's most prominent saloons and social hubs during the 1880s. Originally established as the Golden Eagle Brewery, it was rebuilt and renamed after a fire in 1882. The Crystal Palace offered fine drinks, gambling, and live entertainment, attracting both the working class and the town’s elite, including lawmen, gamblers, and businessmen. Its elegant decor and lively atmosphere provided a touch of sophistication amidst the rough mining town, becoming a symbol of Tombstone's prosperity and cultural development during its boom years. The condition of this Crystal Palace blackjack table is well preserved with some wear to the cloth wrapped surface of the table and some wear to the wooden frame and legs but otherwise shows a well preserved condition.
