Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, A.T. mother of pearl gaming chips circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The gaming chips feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted mother of pearl construction that shows intricate decoration to the thinner pieces and the thicker chips shows expert craftsmanship with pattern medallions and shows scrimshaw numbers on the opposite side of 10 and 20. The smaller chips show delicate etched floral decorations with the square token showing a carved pattern on arrows and crosses. The tokens come complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Mother of Pearl Gaming Pieces. The condition of this collection of mother of pearl gaming chips is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage to the tokens or chips but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this collection of gaming tokens ranges from 7/8" x 1 7/8" to 1 1/2" x 2". The collective weight of this collection of gaming chips is 56.4g. S120
