Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, Arizona resident Cleopatra Edmunds Hoenfeld & Heyma Table circa 19th century and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The table features an ornate and beautiful construction that shows turned lathe construction legs and a leather inlay table top that accentuates the tables opulence. The tbale also comes with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Table from Miss Cleopatra Edmunds' house in Tombstone. - In 1888 her boyfriend, George Davis, shot himself in the head with a revolver after she rejected him. He did the deed on the street in front of her and his father. The house still stands on Safford St. Cleopatra lived in that house until she died of old age. The condition of this Tombstone table is well preserved with with no obvious signs of damage to the table with some slight wear to the legs and in sections along the rim but otherwise shows a well preserved condition.
