Featured in this lot are various advertisements, letter covers and ledgers from the Tombstone Epitaph, The Arizona Kicker & The Daily Prospector from the 1880s. The first items in this lot are from the Tombstone Daily Prospector and feature a letter cover, a ledger from The Daily Prospector, a short letter asking about election votes and a Western Union Telegraph Company paper sent to the Daily Prospector. The next two pieces are from the Commercial Job Printing Office on Fremont Street in Tombstone. One is a letter cover with a Commercial Job Printing Office stamp, while the other is a small advertisement explaining to customers that they have expanded and are now offering new and more services. Next are four Tombstone Arizona Kicker advertisements. They are identical in all ways besides their color and read, "Arizona Kicker / You Want It!! / Subscriptions Taken Here, Published Weekly, Sample Copies 10 Cts / Arizona Kicker, Tombstone Arizona.". The Tombstone Epitaph items include a letter cover with a small history on the first issue of the Tombstone epitaph and shows a photo of the founder John Philip Clum along with four Silver Centennial 1859-1959 stamps. Also included are two real photo postcards of the Tombstone Epitaph, a weather report paper, a subscription paper, an unused Publisher's Affidavit paper and finally, a November 10th, 1927 edition of Cochise County Annual Resource Edition of The Tombstone Epitaph, Volume XLIX, Number 4. It features various write-ups, illustrations advertisements and more. The pieces in this lot show good condition overall with some wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The pieces measure from 5 1/2" L x 3 1/4" W to 13 3/4" L x 10 3/8" W. They have a collective weight of 1 pound and 3 ounces.
