For your consideration is an Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Mount. The Atlantic Bluefin tuna may exceed 2,000 lbs in weight, and rival the black marlin, blue marlin, and swordfish as the most popular fish for sportsman. Throughout recorded history, the Atlantic Bluefin tuna has been highly prized as a food fish. Besides their commercial value as food, the great size, speed, and power they display as apex predators has attracted the admiration of many fishermen. This prized Bluefin mount is missing a few finlets and some of the finish has chipped on the lower Ventral fins. Bluefin mount measures 9 foot 2 inches in length by 3 foot 10 inches from high (top of the highest fin to bottom of the lowest fin) by 23 inches off the wall. Bluefin Tuna is some of the most sought after fish on the culinary market with a record Bluefin selling in a Japanese market for 1.8 million dollars.
