For your consideration are three Turtle Trade Mark woven reed fishing creels from mid 20th century. The "Turtle Trade Mark" fishing creels are recognized for their unique turtle-shaped clasps and high-quality wicker construction. These creels, with a golden patina and strengthened rims, were made in the mid-twentieth century, mostly in the northeastern United States. They all show a rounded style and feature the iconic turtle shaped wood clasp on the top of the lids. Two of the creels feature leather shoulder straps with one featuring padding. They show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. They measure from 8 1/4" L x 14 1/2" W x 8" H to 7" L x 13 1/4" W x 7 1/2" H and have a collective weight 3 pounds and 8 ounces.
