Featured in this lot are two hand carved, folk art wood horses circa early to mid 1900s. The horses are almost identical, both shown with their right front leg slightly bent as if they were walking. They are wearing a saddle with girths, a breast collar, a nose and brow band and a saddle blanket. Their ears are pointed straight up while they keep their nose down. The carvings show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years. No signs of obvious damage is present to the carvings. They measure 10 1/4" L x 3" W x 11 1/2" H. They have a collective weight of 3 pounds and 12 ounces.
