Included in this lot we have two original G.C. (Gerry) Wentworth oil paintings. Gerry Wentworth was a Great Falls, Montana artist who grew up in the era just after Charles Russell's life. He was largely self taught and spent the majority of his life working in painting, sculpture and wood carving. Wentworth's works have been widely exhibited in such places as the C.M. Russell Show, the Phippen Art Show and the Frank Tenney Johnson Show. The first painting depicts a table setting with a bottle of champagne accompanying a fruit and vegetable basket. The second painting shows another table setting featuring a gold wine glass, fruit and a pitcher. The paintings both show very good condition, and they are finished off in a decorative frame. The frames measure 19" X 15". The artwork measures 16" X 12".
