Included in this lot is a U.S. Military Cavalry, leather saddle bags. The saddle bags are constructed from rich brown leather and utilize brass rigging and rivets to fasten the bags to a saddle. The bags are stamped “US”, centered on the bag underneath the flap closure straps. The piece is stamped "Boyt E.T.C." across the sides. The straps are intact and the buckles are in great condition, with a beautiful patina adorning the brass fixtures. The saddle bags show fair condition overall, with some wear and a hole in one side. The saddle bags measure 43" wide by 13 1/2" wide.
