Featured in this lot is this Illinois Central R.R., Adams & Westlake Co oil lamp. This is a wonderful Adams & Westlake, brass top bell bottom frame made for the Illinois Central Railroad. The glass has a very pronounced I.C.R.R. stamping. This is typical of older A&W frames. The frame shows Adams & Westfield embossed to the lid of the lantern and I.C.R.R. embossed into the lid, as well. The condition of this lantern is a good, with some oxidation from use and age. The measurements of this kerosene lantern are 14 3/4" x 8 1/4" x 6 1/2".
