For your consideration is this collection of U.S. Fire Department badges. There are four badges in this collection, all showing silver colored brass and a main shield body with an eagle perched on the shield and the Fireman's symbol centered on the shield. One of the badges shows a commemoration for 15 years of service. The first reads “Sturgis volunteer Fire Department” and shows the maker’s mark on the back of the badge. The second shows a badge for Fireman P. O'Shaughnessy, Stillwater, Oklahoma Fire Department. The third is a New Underwood, South Dakota Volunteer Fire Department, 15 year service commemorative badge. The last is a Yavapai County, Arizona Fireman Fire District Badge with # 0680. The condition of these badges is good, with no obvious signs of damage and wear consistent with use.
