The typewriter being the precursor of our modern computers; shows iconic design and craftsmanship that was frequently seen from Underwood typewriters. The Underwood Typewriter Company was a manufacturer of typewriters headquartered in New York City, New York. Underwood produced what is considered the first widely successful, modern typewriter. This typewriter shows good overall condition with some of the buttons sticking and its age correctly seen in the slight oxidation adorning its frame. The measurements of this typewriter are 10" x 16" x 12".
