Featured in this lot are six, various bike manufacturer catalogs from the 1880s to the early 1900s. The first in this lot is titled, "American Cycles" and was produced by J.S. Murray in Boston, Massachusetts in 1888. The second was produced by William Reed & Sons in Boston, Massachusetts in the late 1890s. The third is the second edition of "Catalogue and Price-List of Bicycles" from George W. Rouse & Son in Peoria, Illinois in the late 1890s. The fourth is the Special Bargain List from Rouse, Hazard & Company in Peoria, Illinois from the early 1890s. The fifth catalog is from the L.A.W. Bulletin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1886. The sixth and final catalog is from the Western Toy Company in New York & Chicago, 1885. These bicycle catalogs feature various items such as high wheels, bicycles, tricycles, whistles, lamps, oilers, peddles, tools, bags and baskets, seats, bells and more. The catalogs show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. Slight rips, fading and staining present, but the catalogs remain in good, readable condition. They measure from 9 3/8" L x 12 3/8" W to 7 3/4" L x 5 3/8" W and have a collective weight of 10 ounces.
